Woman in gut-skin parka , kneeling on a whalebone disk with beaded crafts. Polar bear fur acts as a display mat for her beaded boxes. Her ivory face has baleen inlaid eyes. Her mukluks are suede with walrus gut soles.

Standing man singing while holding an oversize 4″ cir. Drum in his left hand and a ivory tipped stick in his right.His face is detailed down to his nostrils and his open mouth displaying carved teeth is unique. His ivory cap tops his head and his gut skin park is trimmed in seal fur. The pants are seal fur as well as the tops of his mukluks.

Her rabbit fur parka has ermine tails and bleached gut skin bib. her mittens and leggings are a rust colored suede. The mukluks are sealskin and wolf fur trimmed with bleached hide for soles.

Hunter with snow glasses

Stand alone doll dressed in spotted sealskin parka and mukluks. Ivory snow glasses and ivory labrets on a detailed wood carved face. The eyebrows are inlaid baleen fringe. His wood carved hands show great detail down to his cuticles. In one hand he is holding a 19 1/2″ wood spear tipped with ivory and tiec with leather straps. His soles of the mukluks are walrus skin with tie straps.

Grandmother basket seller

Chevak, Alaska

Sitting grandmother doll with molded “smiling” skin face with glass beads for eyes and teeth. Paneak used topaz beads instead of the usual white glass beads. She has glass beaded earrings. Her gut skin rain parka is over a navy blue floral dress and her mittens are black suede. In her hands she is holding with a smile and a small lidded grass basket (4 1/2″tall)  with dyed grass for design. Her mukluks are made of bleached skin
